Formatting Cells

I am creating a quote template and would like to create
cells with the same type of formatting as the Excel
invoice templates ie. the cells appear "blank" until a
number is entered. Once a number is entered the cell is
then formatted eg. $10.00 and is included in the sub
total, taxable rate, etc. Thanks.
 
I've just fixed it. From the existing Excel invoice, I
copied the formatting characters within the custom format
dialog box of the cell and pasted it into my new quote as
a new custom format item. Viola!!
