What doesn't see the D Drive?

Do you mean that in BIOS when you choose IDE autodetection, that BIOS
doesn't see D? or
Do you mean that when you click on My Computer you can't see D? or
DO you mean that when you use Computer Management and Disk management that
you do not see D?

Now if:
1. BIOS doesn't see D drive, check the physical installation of the drive.
2. Explorer doesn't see D Drive, check that it's viewable, formatted and has
a drive letter assigned - go to Computer Management and Disk management to
locate it.
3. Computer Management and Disk management doesn't see D, then check BIOS.

Windows cannot see a disc device that isn't recognised by BIOS.
