I bought a new computer with R/RW DVD. I'm trying to format a disk in order that I can do daily administrative backups. What program should I ust to format a DVD as a data disk? The program for backup is Handy Backup. Presently Handy Backup will not recognize the DVD as formatted to accept files.

Thanks.

Hi Jay,

Windows XP has no native function for formatting a DVD. Most 'one write'
disks are already formatted for this. Otherwise, you will need a third party
program.
