Formato numerico

Hola a todos.... toy un poco desesperado.. a ver si me podeis echar una
mano... gracias ....

Quiero insertar desde visual basic un numero decimal tipo 0,50 en un campo
tipo real de sql server, que tipo de dato o formato desde visual basic tengo
que ponerle double ? string? no se como.... cada vez que no inserto me lo
pone de esta maner ---> 50 .

To convert values there are in Visual Basic beside the Convert class the
very easy Conversion methods.
