how do i format a laptop that has windows 2000. i dont
have a floppy drive, only a cdrom/dvd
i tried to type format c: at command prompt but it
says "wrong dos version"
the laptop had windows me on it and i want to put it back
on

Boot the Windows 2000 CD-ROM and choose install. When asked, delete the
partition. Proceed for a few more screens before you abort.
