Format Not Carried from Make-Table Query to Table

Format instructions in the properties of my make-table
query are not appearing in the table. I have the query
set to standard format and 0 decimal places, which is what
shows when I press the view button. However, when the
table is created the commas are absent and numerous
decimal places appear, and I must go into the table design
to make corrections.

Is there something else I need to do in the query?

Dear Bob:

I suggest you not use a make-table query. Create the table and leave it in
the database. Use an append query to add rows to it. Instead of deleting
the table when you're finished with it, just delete all the rows in it.

I think this will probably serve your purposes well.
