Format Install Option

I installed Vista OEM Home Premium on a brand new, never used, sata
hard drive. I chose "Custom" and did NOT choose to format the new
drive. I saw the format options under "Advanced", but clicked "next"
instead. I wanted to use entire drive - no partitions.

After clicking "next", I thought I would get an option to format,
partition, etc. , but none came. Vista installed just fine, and hard
drive properties in Vista show the entire drive with NTFS file system.

Uh, did I do this right? Is the hard drive formatted correctly and
completely?

Thanks,

Steve U.

Yes. Vista will format on its own if necessary.
