Format Footnotes

G

GavinS

Using Word 2003, when creating a footnote Word automatically adds a
line above the first footnote at the bottom of the page.
Can I access the style of that line? I woud like to turn it into
Hidden Text.

Thanks

Hi Gavin,

After you create a footnote in your document, on the View menu, click Normal
to switch to Normal View if you are not in that mode. Then again on the View
menu, click Footnotes. In the Footnotes dropdown list in the lower pane,
select Footnote Separator, and modify it as you please.
