Format External Drive

I have an external drive ( one of the "MY BOOK" series) that comes preloaded
with automatic backup program.

I would like to just have it for an empty drive that I can use for
storage,etc.

How can I format and setup for NTFS partitions ? It is setup with FAT.

Any assistance appreciated.

Open 'My Computer', right click on the drive, and select 'Format'. Chose
'NTFS' as the format (if not already selected) and click 'OK'.
