Format C drive

I currently have windoxs XP loaded on my home computor
and it is missing files and I am alos having trouble with
my internet program. I want to format my C drive and
start over but I caannot find an un install program for
the Windows XP to get me to Dos so that I can format.
can anyone help me out as to how to do this.
