Format bullets and numbering not the same on all pc's

I am writing work instructions on how to format documents. I have a screen
print showing a particular outlined bullet format 1 1a, 1b etc without the
enclosure 1a) 1b). etc Anyway...someone tried to do this, and it is not an
option on their pc.

Why is this and how can I get all the same options on these pc's.
