Format brush icon

I want to get rid of the format brush icon that appears when I insert a row. It is a nuisance. How do I do this?

Tools>Options>Edit. Uncheck "show insert options button"

Uncheck Show insert option buttons
(and maybe while you're there: Uncheck show paste option buttons??? if you hate
that, too.)
