Form security on secured split database

I secured a database and set groups permissions to certain forms in the
database.
I then created a switchboard for the database with command boxes for
different forms. This all worked great, however when I manually split the
database the users can now open all the forms, even those that they have no
permissions for.

What's up with this?

You don't say what guide you used as a reference but it's likely that you
missed one or more steps in securing your database. For example, did you
remove permissions for all objects for the "users" group?

You should follow *all* steps in the Access security FAQ (link on my web
site) in *sequence*. There is no filler in there, you must omit nothing.
There's also a step by step example on my web site which might help.

Also, when you split you must do so whilst joined to your custom workgroup.

Thanks Keith

I rechecked the permissions for all the groups and users
and that solved the problem.

I used the following guide to secure my database

"How I Use Microsoft access User-Level Security"
