Form Problem re: Nortbots.html

I have recently created a contact form on my web.......the form refers to an
ASP script linked to my hosting account....I have FP Server Extensions
properly installed, but receive the _derived/nortbots.html message indicating
that I don't have the extensions installed...

From other postings on this forum, I gather that this problem may be
connected to the fact that I built the form in a disc-based web and
transferred it to my host server via FTP.......the problem is that my webpage
is hosted on an FTP server, and I don't think that I have any other way to
publish..... Is there a fix to this??? Is therer something else I am doing
wrong?

My form is at www.publicpolicysolutions.net/mailform.htm

Any help would be most appreciated....Thanks

The host must have FP server extensions installed, and you must http publish
to the remote server for the forms to work. FP uses .htm forms, not asp.

So, if you are *not* using FP forms, and have designed a forms handler in
asp, you need to provide us with more information.

Hi Andy,

I have never used GoDaddy hosting, but they do have a form handler script.
You should be able to build your form with FrontPage and submit via the Send
to other: option.

Follow GD's instructions for this.

Once you switch to Send to other:, under Options you will see Action this is
where you will link to the script. Once again, follow their instructions.

Under Advanced, click Add Here you can set the confirmation page. Name
will be redirect and the Value will be relative or absolute page URL.

Click Add again and then Name will be mailto and Value will be the email
address.

I am half asleep, so I hope I didn't miss anything

idea how to read an ASP script, but the file would be at
