Form not advancing to confirmation page

Most of my forms are working correctly, but I have two that I just did and
when the submit button is clicked, they go to my custom "validation failure"
page instead of to the prescribed confirmation page. I checked all my
settings and deleted (from the webspace) and reloaded the page, tried a
Frontpage extension fix for my webspace, also renamed the form page and
reuploaded. Still same problem. The form is sent to me by email, but
confirmation page will not display. I removed my custom failure page so the
default FP validation failure page might display and hopefully tell me what
the problem might be, but my custom validation failure page still displayed
(and yes,I refreshed before trying it), even though that field was left empty
on the confirmation tab for the form. I now redesigned the entire form on a
new page, and STILL the same problem! Contacted my ISP and so far they don't
know the problem either. BTW, I am using FP 2000. Any help would be
appreciated.

I've found my problem, I had a form on the confirmation page and evidently
that creates problems and triggers the error validation page. I changed to a
confirmation page without a form, and that corrected the problem. Thanks for
your reply.
