Form in Word

i am trying to make a form containing both word tables and excel tables. I
want the user to be able to open the excel form i the document, when the
forms are locked. In other words, everything exept the excel form should be
locked. Is it possible to unlock only the Excel form in a document that
contains multiple forms? If this is possible could anyone explain me how to
do this.

Insert a section break either side of the Excel table then protect the
sections other than the Excel section.
