Form fields protection used, but when emailed tabbing doesn't wor.

I've been trying to make forms with field (shadowed & underlined) for
employees to fill out names, dates, etc. and checkmark boxes. I've used the
protection lock icon and it seemed to do well but when I emailed this form (I
tested it by emailing it to myself), the protection of fields did not seem to
work; Tabbing did not work to get to the next field. I would just like to
email mail it so others can use the form and fill in data at the fields using
the tab key.

You can't email an Access form. Are you using a Microsoft Access database?
If not, you are in the wrong newsgroup. You might try one for the
application you are using to create these 'forms'.
