Form Design Mode and Field List

When I choose form design mode instead of form wizard, the field list button
on top of the form is no longer there as it was in form wizard. How do I
bring field list button back so I can drop the field that I want?

From the main menu in Design Mode, select View/FieldList.

I chose form design not from wizard. So in the form design mode, the field
list in the view menu is grayed out. I guess it won't let you see the field
list in form design mode?

You don't have a control source for your form. Click the gray 'square' in
the upper right (where rulers intersect) then add a Control Source. Then
your field list will not be grayed out anymore.

Then you must not have any RecordSource indicated for your form.
Basically, your form is not "bound" to either a table or a query. That's
why the FieldList is "greyed out."
