forgotten password

When Windows XP boots up on my wifes comp. it ask for a
password before it loads the desktop. she cant remember
the password and didn't back it up. What can i do to reset
the password or go around it? Thanx....

Have you tried to log on with the original Administrator user:

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:
