FORGOT LOG ON PASSWORD FOR WIN XP (Home)

Hello, in the military and went away for a few months and
forgot my password to log into Windows XP. I'm the only
one with windows XP admin rights. The rest of the family
doesn't have admin rights. Short of a new install, is
there anything I can do? Really frustrated that I forgot
it, but I'm stuck. Thanks.

Eh, thats not too good. My cousin forgot his once and had to reinstall Windows alll over again (and the other Office softwares). Dont think it'll help if you remove the BIOS chip anyway (anyone want to add to that?)

That's the only way to fix this problem, reinstall

Boot into safe mode by pressing f8 during boot load safe mode and use the default administrator account this is if you have not changed the password for this account as the default is no password
