Forced to save jpg as bmp

Guest

Greetings

In the last week I have noticed that when I save any graphics (including gifs and jpegs) from web sites the only option I am given is bmp, which are obviously much larger files and slower to download. Previously, if a file was a jpeg it would save as one. Any ideas

Thanks

It's time to perform some Spring Cleaning:

Go to Start > Run and type: CLEANMGR.EXE , and hit enter.
This will start your disk cleanup utility. Make sure to cleanup
your Temporary Internet Files.

In Internet Explorer, click the "Tools" menu and select "Internet
Options". Under the "General" tab, go down to the "Temporary Internet
Files" section and click the "Delete Files" button. Restart your
system, and you should be able to save the other formats.
