I changed something on my XPpro SP2 pc the other day that I cannot
recall how/where to change back. Somewhere in Desktop properties, I
think. I was using the Appearance and the Themes tabs.

I am forced to logon after the timeout for the screensaver elapses.
How can I remove/change this such that I am not forced to logon after
the screensaver timeout ?

Thanks.

Go to Control Panel and double click on Display.
Click on the Screen Saver tab.
Remove the check mark from the box next to "On resume, password
protect".
Note: On your computer, this may be "On resume, show the
welcome screen".

Display properties> Screensaver: Remove check in box next to setting
requiring a logon.

If still seeing the logon screen, go to Power Options> Standby and remove
the check from the box about requiring logon when resuming from standby
state.
