force pc to join a domain without administrative rights

I have a machine that is used in a dept here at the hospital I work work at
that is used for telepathology. I need to get into the machine to make
changes to its current setup. no one here knows the administrator password.
is there a way to force the machine to join a domain without admin rights..
IF I can get it on the domain I can use the domain admin password...

You need to be a local administrator to join the domain. There is a free
tool at the links below that you can use to reset the built in password by
booting from a cdrom or floppy. --- Steve
