Force outlook to close at logout

I use a tool called ScreenPass (http://www.bgrove.com/) that forces a logout
at a specified time. This is to make sure my users have closed all
application prior to the backup eacj night. However, if a user leaves
outlook open then the logout does not happen. Is there a way to force
outlook to close at logout/shutdown/restart? I have tried Knockout but I
either have it configured wrong or does not do what I want. Ultimately I
want to stop getting the Backup failed in Veritas 9/10.

Also, you might try a script to close the process yourself.
Ultimately, what is keeping Outlook open is the issue but it is a common
issue.
