Thanks but still no joy, this IS set in the Default Domain Policy and I have
BOTH these enabled:
Computer config/windows/security/local policies/security options/MS Network
Server/Disconnect clients when logon hours expire
Computer config/windows/security/local policies/security options/Network
Security/Force logoff when logon hours expire
So am still confused
Hi
I'm not sure what you put into the word "disconnect" in this setting,
but if you mean a actual logoff of the user account on the client
computer, this policy is not about that.
This means that you can't use this policy for console logoff.
This forced logoff policy is a policy for SMB server, i.e. the computer
which has a network share accessible from a network. This policy, if
enabled on a server, ends the users session with the server when their
logon hours expire.
