When I am creating an e-mail, I find that if I click on 'Format', the word
'Font' is greyed out.
Actually everything is greyed out from the word 'Style' down to and
including 'Background'.
How do I get the word 'Font' to work??
 
Click in the message body first...
and it only works for HTML, not plain text.
 
You need to click on "Rich Text (HTML)" before the other choices
are enabled. Also, you may need to type at least one character
in the body.
