I wonder if someone could help please, I am trying to find the font folder,
so that I can copy a font onto a disk to put onto my laptop. In other
versions of Windows its C:\windows\fonts, which it appears to be in Vista,
but once in C:\Windows I cannot find the fonts folder. If I go through the
control panel to the fonts folder it will not let me copy the front from
there. It will let me right click the font to copy, but not let me paste
onto a memory stick. I would be grateful if anyone knows how please. I
have already got into Folder options and made sure that Hidden files are
visible.

Hi,

Just type C:\Windows\Fonts into the address bar of Windows Explorer. Won't
matter what your folder options are set to.

Also, in Folder Options, you must not only enable to line to show hidden
files, you must also uncheck the line to hide protected operating system
files in order to see it the way you mentioned.

hit windows key, type 'fonts', right click the font you want and drag a copy
to desktop, then you can put it on a stick or email it or do anything with
it. When finished delete it.

Again, thank you very much for the info, much appreciated.

You may not have privs to get into the fonts folder as a Standard
user. Post again if you need help.
