Hi, how can I add fonts serif, san serif, and console to Word? They aren't

You need to find the files for them (possibly on the Internet) download them
and copy them to Start|Control Panel|Fonts

Serif and sans serif are not font names but font types. Serifs are those
little decorative lines at the end of letters. Times New Roman is a serif
font. Arial is a sans serif font.

I found console font on

I downloaded it and saved it. I tried clicking and dragging it to the font
folder, that didn't work. I also tried right-clicking, click copy, going
over to the font folder, right-clicking but the paste is greyed out.

I have windows XP and according to the the font folder there are 400 fonts
which seems like as awful lot.

"The FON fonts are screen fonts. Unless your software is very very sick, it
should NEVER show you these as available font selections ... other than
perhaps programming tools."
Since you never did say what you were doing.........why are you trying to
use those fonts in Word?

just want to see what it looks like.
