A Win98 computer has lots of fonts installed on it and our customer wants to
move them to a WinXP machine. Would it work if the Fonts directory is copied
and then put in a shared directoy, then the XP machine installed them from
the shared directory (being sure not to overwrite any existing fonts)?

Is that the correct way to approach this? Just don't want any "core" font
issues in copying from 98 to XP.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure nothing gets messed up. So, as long as I
don't overwrite anything it should be OK?

I am using XP and have tried and tried to change the FONT SIZE while typing
email messages or using WORKS wp. It is set on 12pt and when I change it to
14pt or higher, as soon as I start typing it goes back to 12pt. It is very
frustrating because my eyesight is detoriating and would like to have larger
font size. Thanks for your help.
