My computer has a number of fonts that are exclusive just
to my computer. I have also purchased software that will
allow me to make a font from my own handwriting. If I want
to use any of them in a web page, is there a way to do it
so everybody else won't see it as Times New Roman? Like,
for example, I am planning a scrapbook-type web site and I
figure that people tend to write in scrapbooks.

The only way you can do it is to convert your fonts to images, such as using
them as headlines/subjects ony, and make it a graphic.

See my original posting 'Converting to GIF format' just
above yours. I think the responses to my posting apply to
yours as well.

see the post "converting to gif format" - virutally the same topic matter.
you'll need to create a graphic of the text using the specific font you want.
