Fonts in WinXP

How do I use/install custom fonts that I have downloaded
in Windows applications such as OfficeXP and possibly AOL
AIM.

Thanx!
 
Open fonts folder under settings and use file new etc.
Installed fonts are available in all applications, something I wish they
would fix someday.

Start | control panel | (switch to classic view) | fonts
| click file and then install new font.

i dont know how to get to it from catagory view

--But heck what do I know I'm just 15--
