Fonts blurry ...

Hi boy, i have a problem ...
In my windows 2000 SP4 text look blurry even if the
option smooth is off.
Monitor is a new LG lcd with a matrox and all the drive
are been updated.
In the registry smoothfont keys are off.
Now,what more can i do ?

Are you sure you're running at the native resolution of the LCD panel?
LCDs are different to normal monitors in that they can only run at a
single resolution. If you choose a resolution less than that then
software jiggery-pokery resizes the image and you get blurry bits like
you describe. Check the docs you got with your monitor and it'll
recommend a resolution to run.
