How to get cleartype fonts

P

Pavel

We are using Windows 2000 at work and recently received a new batch of
computers and LCD monitors. Unfortunately, all the LCD text display
is very fuzzy or blurry.

Is there a way to do a registry tweak to create cleartype fonts or
better still a utility that does the same?

Thanks

The chances are that they're not set to the optimum resolution for the
TFT monitor, we had this issue with some uses who had their screen
resolution set too low, once we set the PC's to a higher res it was all
OK.

Check with the monitor maker for the optimum res for that device and set
your workstations to it.

I think Cleartype is Win XP technology that's not implemented in 2000
