fonts and Xp

Looking for some help....Why do some fonts not work when downloaded into
xp...For example Luv Country Art font will not work. Before my puter crashed
I was able to use this font and now I cant...Can anyone help?

Are you installing the font from the font folder in the control panel? Do you have
the XP service pack installed?

Hi Mary, Yes I have the service pack installed and yes I am installing from
the control panel..I have also tried directly installing to
windows/fonts...as well as simply trying to open the font...Nothing is
working...HELP!
