Font styles and sizes have gone haywire

I am trying to restore the default fonts ,styles and sizes. For some reason everything went small italic even though the settings in OE6 read, compose, etc are different. Almost all my text is italic, the rest is small bold. Is there a way to restore everything back to the way it was when I installed XP Pro? Even some of the colors have change. The text on all the tabs are italic
I think you get the idea.

Repair (re-install XP---Upgrade Recommended). All will return to normal. You will have to do the Updates- SPs and patches.
