Font size

I have changed my screen res from 800x600 to 1024x768.
Now all my screen fonts are tiny. I have changed the
font size in display to large which helped with some of
the fonts but the fonts on the taskbar and in the
applications are still all tiny. How can I set these. I
have liiked at Display>appearance>advanced but cannot
find anthing there.

Assume a large letter N was 100 pixels in height. With your 800 x 600 setting
the N would be 1/8 of the height of the screen, while with your 1024 x 768
setting the N would be approximately 1/10 the height of your screen.

The font program will only display 100 pixels. Having said all of that,
while browsing on the Internet, you may change the size the fonts are
displayed from the View menu.
