font size

How can I change the font size to send mail? I know each time I e mail I
can go to format but how do I keep it at 12 instead of 10?

Go to Tools, Options and then Compose to send both send and receive fonts.

I am pretty sure I am in HTML. How would I tell?

When you are composing a message, if the toolbar shows symbols for
Bold, Italic, Underline, etc., you are in HTML format. To change format,
click the Format button on the menu bar.
