Font Size

In this message box, as I type, the font size is about 6. In many other
places, it's the same size. The names of the Discussions in the forum are
about a 12 and so are the Windows choices to the extreme left. I've changed
many settings in Display Properties -> Appearance -> Advanced, but none of
them change the size of the font. The font size in Display Properties is
also a size 6.

Could someone telll me the right setting to change to fix this?

checked:
Select an icon size for programs
(*) Large Icons

Click on Settings and change the resolution to lower resolutions than the
one you have.
Click [OK] and Hit F5 to refresh.

= Right click Desktop>> Point to Arrange icons by>>
Uncheck "Lock web items"

= Another is Open IE Page and click on View >>Text Size >> Medium.
Hit F5, does this help.

= Try this:

that will enlarge the Font.

It changed things that were the rights size to be 6 pitch and when I hold
down the Ctrl + mouse scroll and scroll just once, it enlarges things so much
that I have a bar on the bottom and I have to go back and forth to see what's
on a page. I did a system restore to this morning but it didn't change it.

down the Ctrl + mouse scroll and scroll just once, it enlarges things so much
that I have a bar on the bottom and I have to go back and forth to see what's
on a page. I did a system restore to this morning but it didn't change it.

The instructions I gave should do a lot of hassle or any trouble to you,
your system looks like infested with malwares or your Video card Driver is
messed up somehow, hence you said you can't change the Resolutions of your
display.
Try and scan for malwares and see your Video card in the Device Manager, you
can uninstall it and Reboot if you have the driver for it on a CD or floppy
windows will ask you if you it to install or you have the Disk for, whichever
available click on it or if you know the specs ( which will show in Device
manager) you can download the latest driver from the MOB manufacturer.

I didn't say that I couldn't change my screen resolution, I said that the
option wasn't available on the Properties screen. I just did a Help search
for screen resolution and I went into Display and the option was there. I
had it set to the max because I watch DVDs on my computer. I just turned it
down a bit . . . we'll see what happens.
