font size keeps reverting to "Medium"

Sam

For a while now IE6 has decided to ignore my VIEW/TEXT SIZE setting and
keeps changing it to MEDIUM when I've set it to SMALLER.

I don't know why this should be happening all of a sudden. It might relate
to the SE2 update to XP, although I'm not sure.

Anyone know how to make Explorer stick with my chosen font setting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Richard

If IE-View-Text Size does not stick....

---solution 1
If you are using Eudora 4.2 or greater then use Tools-Options-Viewing
Mail and uncheck "Use Microsoft's viewer"
It is Eudora that is setting the IE text size and unchecking that
option will stop it.

The key that Eudora 4.x will change is this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\International\Scripts\3]
"IEFontSize"=hex:02,00,00,00

---solution 2
In Outlook 2000 go to Tools/Options/Mail Format/Fonts/International
Fonts, and for each font
change the "Font Size" entry to your desired size.

Thanks for your reply but this problem is happening in IE6 not Edora (which
I don't have) or Outlook.

Is there a solution for IE6?

Thanks for your kind help.

If you don't have Eudora or Outlook, then it is probably academic but
the two solutions ARE for IE6, not Eudora or Outlook.

Thanks for your help with my IE6 problem. I tried changing the Outlook
setting and IE6 seems to be working OK now.

I guess Outlook must update a system setting each time I send an email that
then affects IE6.

Thanks for taking the time to help me solve this problem, I greatly
appreciate your kindness.

Regards
Richard
