Font setting for cell comments

It seems that the default font setting for cell comments
in Excel 2000 is Tahoma 8 Bold. Is there some way to
change this default setting ? At the moment I have to
change the setting for each comment I insert.

You can change the font size and font of new comments by changing the settings in
your Control Panel. (Instructions for Windows XP)
Note: this will also affect the font size of ToolTips

1. Right-click on the desktop, and choose Properties
2. On the Appearance tab, click Advanced.
3. From the Item dropdown, choose Tooltip
4. Choose a font Size, click OK, click OK

If you want to do this, I'd do a SaveAs against the current Scheme. Then play
around with it. If you screw up too much, you can always delete that scheme and
go back to the original (that you noted before you started!).
