font 'kristen'

On older software '98' I am able to use this font, it seems it is no longer
automatically with office. I've seen downloads for $22. Does anyone know
how I can obtain this font for free ?

You will either need to purchase the font or install the application that it came with on this pc.
Also keep in mind that if you plan to use this in a web, all users must also have this font
installed on their machine, unless you make your text with it a graphic image.

I found it (and a bunch more) for free at:

I tried one and it seems ok although the site is a little strange...
When you click on the free font...it immediately downloads it (a little scary since there's NO choice of where it goes) to your temp internet files (you'll have to search for it) then drag it into Windows/Fonts.

I scanned it for virus..its ok..gonna do an AdAware scan now.

Thats whats stupid (on my part)...I assumed it would bring me to another page or something but it downloaded so fast I didn't even see it the first time

Oddly enough the font I decided to test was Konspiracy...since I already had Kristen ;-) !!!

Seems safe though, my machine didn't implode.
