There are a number of resources for this purpose. You can use your favorite
search engine and look for freeware for font lists. The most flexible method
is to use a macro to for this purpose. Here's a KB article with a couple
macros you can use:

article if you need help with that aspect. It also contains links for
assigning the macro to a keyboard shortcut or button on a toolbar:

I guess I wanted a directory of font samples...I want to print out alphabets
of each font on my system for reference. I'm a graphic artist.

Costs a few dollars but well worth it if you have a decent collection of
fonts beyond what is installed.
