Font color on desktop!!!

This is so frustrating! I have a primarily white background pic for my desktop and can't find a way to change the color of the stupid fonts below my icons. PLS HELP ME!!!
 
Hi

Right click on the desktop and then click propertie

then click the appearance tab and choose advance

choose the desktop and then select the colour that u want to stand out against the white backgroun
