Font Change? Link bar in shared border.

C

Christine

I want to change the font color in my navigation based
link bar of a shared border. I chose one of the Front
Page styles of link bars. I am not using a theme. FP2002.
Things I have tried that don't work...
(after highlighting link bar)
1. Page Properties - background - change colors - text -
OK
2. Link bar properties - style - (no option for color
change)
3. Font - color - apply - OK
Is it even possible to change the font color of a FP
Style link bar? Thanks!

If you're using graphic buttons, you need to change the
colors in the Theme the buttons are using. (The buttons
are using the Theme, even if the rest of the page
doesn't).

To do this, choose Format, Theme, Modify, select the
Theme, then click Modify, Colors, and the Custom tab. Set
Item equal to Navigation text, Then choose the color you
want.

Be sure to save the Themes as you exit. If you used a
standard Microsoft Themes, you'll need to save it under a
new name, and then change your link bars to use the style
with that name.
