I received a worksheet where the column and row headers had their font and
size changed. How is this done? I run Excel2000
TIA //Claesgn

<Tools> <Options> <General>
And change the "Standard Font".

XL will then ask you to close and re-open, for the change to take effect.

Alternative......may have been altered with

Format>Style>Normal. Modify Font.

Actually Gord, I *don't* think it's an alternative!
I think yours is probably the *better* way!

The change using "style" appears to be WB specific, while the change in
"Tools - Options - General" changes the *entire* Application (XL).

So, to change a single WB, so that a blind old man can see bigger type, your
way is probably better.<g>

Only problem with using the Format>Style method is that ALL text in whatever
type is chosen will be altered, not just the headers.

Assume the font type is Arial 10pt.

Changed the Style font to Arial 14pt. Italic.

ALL Arial fonts in the book will change to Italic 14pt.

I suggested it only because that's how the changed headers might have been
achieved.

On the other hand.......changing the Standard Font in Tools>Options>General
will only affect new workbooks, not previously-saved books.

Both methods have their disadvantages.
