folders regenerate when deleted

following the failure of sp2 to install i reinstalled vista and used recovery
software to recover emails lost. impoeted them to a recoered folder in
windows mail once this folder was finished with attempted to delet it which
appeared to work now every time i open mail new recovered folder is generated
any ideas on how to stop this happening
