folder tree display

When opening the folder tree in the sidebar of a folder window it
automatically orders all subfolders alphabetically. Can these be reordered to
display by other criteria, such as date?

Try clicking on the column headings.

If you want it to stay that way you probably need to go into folder options
and check the remember folder view settings.

Actually I'm talking about the sidebar that displays the folder tree itself,
not the main window. As the folder tree expands, is it possible to set some
folders to expand and display their subfolders by date instead of
alphabetically? Thanks.
