folder system 32 pops up during startup

please help...when i boot my computer, the folder system
32 pops up. this is new, a couple of weeks now, every
single time i start the comp. i have to manually close
it. how do i make this stop? it pops up when everything
is in place, ie. background, icons, so forth. pls help,
i have no idea what to do.
 
thanks frank. i looked up that link, indeed, they have
information about that. however, i am computer
illiterate and still have no idea what to do, what they
were saying. is there any way possible to guide me step-
by-step through this, or do you suggest i call microsoft
support for further help. thanks.
