Folder Redirection and Word 2000

I've set up Folder Redirection on my server and created a home directory for
my user. When I log onto the workstation (W2K Pro), the My document folder
has successfully been redirected. However, when I open Word 2000 and type a
document and save, it does not point me to the My Document folder but the
local drive instead. When I click the My Document icon on the left side of
the save window I get an error message saying that I do not have access to
the folder. I can get into the folder through the My Documents icon on the
desktop and through the mapped drive under My Computer, so I know that I'm
not restricted to the folder. Can someone please tell me what I might be
missing? Thanks ahead of time.

Could you check what the settings are in Word for the File locations? Maybe
there is an faulty path specified. On that Tab you can specify various folder
locations, like the default folder for documents, Illustrations, User
Templates etc.
