folder re-direction

Quick question for you guys & gals. I am redirecting the
my documents folder to a folder on my server. currently my
path is \\server\share\sub-dir\sub-dir\%username%. I will
not redirect for me what so ever. I have checked
permissions etc. If I try to re-direct up one level to the
sub-dir of the original share it works fine. What I
missing? please help

Is the client a W2K computer? It should work then. We've setup our users
with
\\server\share$\folder\subfolder\%username%\mydocuments
as the redirection path for the My Documetns folder and it works perfectly.

Try to reinitialize security on the folder - we've experienced problems with
the ApplicationData folder redirection where it was fixed for 90% of our
users just by reinitializing the security on the users folder, subfolders
and files.

Ej, is your client Windows XP and everyone else Windows 2000?

If so, I have the same problem )

Folder redirection works on 2000 clients, just not windows XP.

I will keep checking this post for replies.
